How Can I Ghost My Operating System ( Driver C) Using Norton Ghost Or Hiren Boot Cd?

I have never worked with Norton Ghost or any other softwares like this. I don’t know how to ghost my driver C. Please show me. I am using WindowXP sp2, HDD SATA. Is there any warning with ghosting with Sata hdd?

I had a major computer problem this week and had to re-install Windows XP and lost all data.
I tried Norton Ghost recovery and it did not work properly.
Fortunately I also have Acronis True Image and that worked like a miracle! I got my computer back.
Should I just get rid of Norton Ghost?

Is it possible to create Image of your drive using ghost 12 and then burn it on a dvd(S) and then be able to boot up from those Dvd(s)

How Can I Backup Mu Windows Vista And Recopy The Backup Version To Different Computers? Is Norton Ghost Good?

i am a computer seller and i make alot of computers similar to eachother. i install windows vista on all of them. how can i install windows vista once with all the neccessary programs and then make an image of this backups on a dvd and then use that image for other PCs so i dont need to install windows and programs for every PC?? i heared norton ghost does that but i found a version that only works with XP… any other ideas?? can you please give me a lead on how to do it and how to start? i would appreciate it! cheers

Is It Possible (and Sensible) To Store A Norton Ghost Image On An External Hard Drive?

I want to do this because writing the image to CD-R s too cumbersome. If my computer crashed what will I need to do to restore the ghost from my external hard drive that is not bootable.

What Are Pros And Cons On Acronis Verses Norton Ghost?

I have had Norton Ghost for awhile and pretty satisfied with it.
I recently got Acronis True Image 2009 and it is OK, but it is hard to understand and automatic incremental updates will sometimes not happen.
I’m thinking of just going with Norton Ghost and forget Acronis. It just takes too much time to run both and Acronis is too complicated.
Is Norton Ghost good enough?
I make hard drive copy with Norton Ghost that I keep at another location and also make incremental backups at home and work.
