Should Public Schools Start Teaching Children That Many Biblical Myths Can Not Possibly Be True?
We want our children to be educated with the truth, don’t we? And the truth is that many biblical myths like Noah’s Ark, Jonah and the ‘big fish,’ Adam and Eve and the talking snake etc, these myths can not possibly be true, right? So if your kid came home from school one day and said, “Teacher today told us that Noah’s Ark is just a nonsense myth that can’t possibly be true,” how would you react?

What If The Myths Are Really True Stories?
With the discoveries that are being made by archaeologists and scientists in the last 50 years that were based on myths, what if there are other myths yet to be discovered as real? What do you think? Troy was once thought to be a myth. The hanging gardens were also thought to be a myth. Even Noah’s ark was doubted by the church in the dark ages.

I want a way to show students the importance of good planning–as opposed to making decisions without careful consideration of all the facts. I recently read “101 Myths in the Bible” where the author, Gary Greenberg, points out inconsistencies, errors and faulty logic in the bible. He presents his information logically and in an interesting way. I know people of “faith” won’t be swayed, but how in the world do they rationalize believing in such obvious mythology in view of the facts?
